"My wife and I sought to sell our house in Westwood and to purchase another in the same general area. We viewed the new residences as our last expansive housing purchase.

Sally Forster Jones represented us in the sale of our Westwood house and purchse of a new one.

We spend some nine months on this project looking at close to fifty properties and making offers on more than five. On each offer, Sally provided us with valuable advice and counsel. She was diligent with respect to comparables market conditions in the area, and the draw backs and advantages of each property. On two occasions we made offers subject to contingency and found problems with the property causing us to not proceed with the transactions. In each case, Sally handled the matter professionally, with great diligence and attention to the formalities required under the circumstances.

At one point we became discouraged with the prospects of finding a house meeting our standards in the area for a prive we could afford. Sally found several samples in proximate areas that gave us a better feeling for the tradeoffs between location and cost. She never tired of showing us properties, returning to properties that we had visited and finding further answers to our questions on any property.

On several occasions we had differences of opinion on the strategy of our initial and subsequent counteroffers to purchase. Sally provided her views with logic, reason and facts. When we disagreed, she acknowledged that we were the client and carried out our instructions flawlessly.

Of the residence we were selling, we were somewhat over-optimistic in the initial sale price for our Westwood home. We subsequently reduced the asking price after a slight hiatus she recommended. The second offering elicited multiple offers that went into overbid. Having never been in a multiple offer situation John was surprised, given his experience, with the complexity of that situation and appreciated Sally's counsel and judgment in bringing matters to a favorable conclusion that in effect resulted in a recapture of the cost of her commission.

We have previously bought and sold six residences on the Westside of Los Angeles. Sall is the best real estate broker that we have ever worked with. Even, our four year old daughter loves her and wants to be a "show houser" like Sally when she grows up. We would unhesitatingly recommend Sally Forster Jones and her team.
