Malibu:

“27 Miles of Scenic Beauty” are what the signs proclaim that are dotted along the Pacific Coast Highway, the main thoroughfare of Malibu.  The sign is not hyperbole, as anyone can plainly see by taking a relaxing cruise down the P.C.H. past the quaint markets and canyon roads on one side and arguably the most beautiful coastline in North America on the other.  Past Surfrider and Zuma beach with their warm and sandy shores, around Point Dume from which one can see Catalina Island, and through the canyons that lead down to the Trancas market.  The appeal is irresistible and falling in love is inevitable.

The highlands and beaches of Malibu are filled with protected areas of great natural beauty.  There is always a deserted little beach tucked and hidden away in a cove for you to find and the grassy wildflower covered hills are there for you to explore.  The citizens of Malibu have a great deal of pride in their city, and rightly so, with it almost non-existent crime rate, fabulous schools and universities, unparalleled beauty, and it’s amazingly fast access to the City of Los Angeles and everything that it has to offer.
