Santa Monica:

It is hard to imagine anything more pleasant than having an evening stroll along Santa Monica’s Palisades Park atop a bluff overlooking the endless beaches and ocean.  Or, stopping to dine at one of the hundreds of famous and critically acclaimed restaurants for dinner, and then retiring to a home along a safe and quiet street.  Santa Monica has become perhaps the quintessential Southern California city.  It’s architecture and streets, its history and its place in Los Angeles both geographically and culturally have set a very high bar for other cities in California.
