Van Gogh’s ‘The Bedroom’ Coming to Pasadena!
The Norton Simon Museum is about to get one of the world's most famous works of art - Coming this December! For the first time on display on the West Coast , Van Gogh's 'Bedroom' will be on loan from the Art Institute of Chicago. "A meditation on friendship, hope and crushing disappointment, Van Gogh’s Bedroom serves not only as a kind of self-portrait, but also as a symbol of the artist’s wandering existence and search for an elusive sense of repose" (http://www.nortonsimon.org).
The Norton Simon Museum will have this significant piece on display from December 9th- March 6th! It is the only major loan this year for the museum, so it's display will be in full effect. Plan your visit!
