For our fellow travel enthusiasts, CNN just released their list of the best new cruise ships hitting the seas in 2016. Whether you enjoy soaking in the sun with an iced martini or planning your days with a heavy dose of thrills, 2016 is a big year for cruise fans.

1. Carnival Vista – This mega ship is the first, “pedal-powered, aerial attraction” where guests pedal pods just feet above the ship deck. There psychedelic water park will feature a 455-foot, rainbow-colored drop slide that’ll give guests adrenalin for days. The ship will also feature the first ever IMAX theater at sea! But that’s not it, master mixologists are making handcrafted beers brewed daily at the RedFrog Pub’s microbrewery. This Carnival cruise launches in May in the Mediterranean.

 

2. Holland America’s ms Koningsdam – Love live music and stunning performances? Then this ride is for you! This extravagant cruise features a 270-degree LED screen with a world renown stage. World-class musicians perform nightly ranging from covered hits to classical blues. Aside from the musical wonderland, this fabulous ship has a state of the art spa with thermal pools, heated ceramic lounges, and treatment rooms with sea views. This blissful ride is perfect for anyone in need of a relaxing and sophisticated get-a-way.

 

3. Seabourn Encore – This breath-taking cruise ship takes exclusivity to a whole different level. Carrying just under 600 guests, each room has a private veranda overlooking the sparkling sea. Travel ports not only include some of the countries staple locations, but tucked away spots that big ships aren’t able to access – making each destination a private experience. Aside from the remarkable destinations, this ship offers gourmet dining, casinos, blackjack and roulette tables, along with a Grand Salon dedicated to high-level guest speakers and performers. Experience heaven, starting in December 2016, and sail through Europe, the Middle East, and Asia.
